Lucie has been drawing ridiculous characters and creatures since before she was walking (she's never been very athletic), and now as an adult she has happily made it her profession. Her work can be seen in magazines across the country, as well as in murals, books and ad campaigns. She currently resides in Carmel, IN (after many wonderful years in Nashville, TN) and when she's not hard at work, she stays busy reading something spooky, cooking, doing yoga, and hanging with her crew (meet them below). She loves creating work for clients as well as working on personal projects related to animals, nature and social justice.

ABOUT THE TEAM
It takes a village! In this case, it's a very small village (really just a house).

In 2022, Lucie Rice Illustration and Design, LLC expanded to include a larger emphasis on licensing, wholesale, and a more extensive product line. This meant bringing one highly over-qualified Vice President of Business Operations & Development and one rather unreliable intern into the business.

KURT WULLIMAN

VP, Operations

Kurt has an extensive
background in operations and brings his business expertise and uncanny ability to get sh*t done to the enterprise. He is also Lucie's # 1 fan and one-and-only amazing husband. Call it nepotism? Heck yeah! He is our lead on all things wholesale and licensing.

PEARL
Unpaid Intern

Pearl is the newest member of the team and is in charge of mess-making and putting all the things in her mouth.
